Site work for a municipal facility in Kodiak, Alaska. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
Project is a replacement of concrete slab overlay in an existing baler building. Project includes removal and replacement concrete slab overlay at the existing Baler Building. Anticipated Notice to Proceed is September 6, 2024. All work must be substantially complete not later than November 15, 2024, and final completion achieved not later than December 15, 2024. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, cashier check or money order in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Bid bonds shall be in a form satisfactory to the Kodiak Island Borough. Kodiak Island Borough is requiring that the successful bidder complete the concrete pour within thirty (30) days from the start date of the demolition. If the concrete pour has not been completed within that time liquidated damages will be applied, at the rate provided for in Section 00 8000 Supplementary Conditions 2.6(a)(2), for each day beyond thirty (30) days until the pour is completed. The Kodiak Island Borough reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids and waive irregularities or informalities in the bid or in the bidding.
