Description

Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a municipal facility in Tacoma, Washington. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and for asbestos abatement for a municipal facility.

The work proposed includes all the necessary permits, fees, materials, equipment, labor, and related items to demolition and abatement to the 7 th floor, located within the County-City Building located at 930 Tacoma Avenue S. Tacoma, WA 98402 and demolition of portions of 1501 Market 1 st floor and 5 th floor, located at 1501 Market Tacoma, WA 98402. Pierce County will pay fees for the General Building Permit and Plan Review for this project. The contractor is responsible for any specialty or other permits required for this project and shall include such fees in their bid. A 5% bid bond must accompany all bids, and a 100% payment and performance bond will be required from the successful bidder. HOLDING BIDS: No bids shall be withdrawn after the opening of the bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time set for submission of bids. TIME FOR COMPLETION: The successful bidder will be required to substantially complete all basic bid work within 90 CALENDAR DAYS OF NOTICE TO PROCEED The contractor will have an additional 5 CALENDAR DAYS to reach Final Completion and Acceptance for a total of 95 CALENDAR DAYS Question Deadline 08/14/2024 at 2:00 PM PT All questions must be submitted within the Pierce County Procurement Portal online
