As of October 3, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. Pet Adoption Stair Replacement bid St. Charles County Government Facilities Management Department is seeking bids to remove and replace the exterior stairs at Pet Adoption. The existing stairs are retaining wall blocks and caps. The new stairs will be cast in place concrete based off the civil drawings provided. The stairs are located on the South side of the building at 4850 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, MO 63376. Base Bid: Remove and dispose of existing block stairs and any foundation or supporting structures, including the existing railing. All construction debris will be placed in a contractor supplied dumpster and should be hauled offsite and disposed of properly. Protect existing concrete slab, fences, and gates (to remain in place). Full scope of work is included in the Civil Construction Drawings, as listed below, prepared by SWT Design on page C-001 under NOTES. All County permits are to be obtained by contractor and paid by the County. Only St. Charles County permits are needed. Alternate #1: Supply and install a 1.90 outside diameter stainless steel grasping rail as identified in attached drawings page C-300. Grasping rail should be painted with two coats of DTM Semi-Gloss Black Paint.
