Mills Estates Parks, sometimes referred to as Sebastian Park is situated at Lake Street and Sebastian Drive in the prestigious Mills Estates area of Millbrae, which is currently an open spaced area offering a great view of the Bay Area. The City would like to reactivate the park with potential improvements: Improve universal site access, re-grade a portion of the park for new landscape and turf, clear vegetation to provide better view, bioretention installation, construct multi-use recreation paths, install seating and picnic tables in shaded areas, update utilities on site, install on-site surveillance and lighting, develop active and passive recreation zones (Playgrounds), and Integrate park entrance. This City has completed a series of public outreach on the design of the future improvements. Schedule: Planning Phase: FY 23 Design: FY 24 Construction: FY 25/27 (currently unfunded; will be grant-driven) As of July 30, 2024, this project is included in the city's 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
