The City of Porterville is seeking qualified licensed and bonded contractors/firms to design, construct, deliver and install prefabricated dining facility with commercial kitchen and office space and a sanitation facility with public restrooms and showers for the Porterville Navigation Center (PNC), located at 140 S C St, Porterville CA 93257. The City hereby affirmatively ensures that Minority Business Enterprises and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to this notice and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, handicap, gender, religion or sexual orientation in any consideration leading to the award of contract. Question Deadline 08/12/2024 Questions regarding this project are due no later than Monday SCOPE OF WORK: The site is within the City limits of the City of Porterville, located at 140 S C St. Porterville, CA 93257, and will provide expanded services at the current Navigation Center to include a dining facility with a commercial kitchen and office space, 4 restrooms and 3 shower stalls. 4 Q The work performed under this contract consist of, but is not limited to: furnishing all material, labor, tools, and expendable equipment for the design, construction of a prefabricated dining and sanitation facility, delivery and installation of said facilities (including site preparation). The design can encompass all amenities or they can be two separate structures but shall include: 1. Dining Facility a. Commercial kitchen b. At least 3 office spaces c. Dining seating to accommodate at least 100 guests 2. Sanitation Facility a. Prefabricated restroom shall have four (4) ACC/RR/ADA all gender restrooms, two (2) split level and ADA compliant drinking fountains, and one (1) utility/storage room that shall include all accessories, hook-ups, lighting, and electrical panel. Preferred items include stainless steel fixtures, toilets and urinals, sink, touchless sink faucet, soap dispenser, seat cover dispenser, paper towel dispenser, recessed waste and sanitary receptable, and a baby changing station. The building to include interior and exterior lights, interior FRP walls, and passive ventilation. b. Prefabricated showers shall have (3) showers and at least one of those shall be ADA accessible (Also provide an option for exterior showers)
