DESCRIPTION: The DEA Southeast Laboratory (SFL4), located at 2205 NW 132nd Place, Miami, FL 33182 has a requirement for a contractor to provide the Repair and Installation of Evidence Shelving Units. Period of Performance is 9/30/2024 - 9/29/2025. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Southeast Laboratory (SFL4) is seeking a contractor capable of providing on-site repair services and installation of shelving units utilized for storage (temporary and long termed) of evidentiary boxes and heat-sealed evidence envelopes. This project will allow 6 evidence specialists to move the pallet racks and movable shelves with ease, while still facilitating an environment where the staff can move about the vault space in forklifts for the purpose of moving evidence boxes, pallets, and bins containing heat sealed evidence envelopes. On-site services shall be provided by employees of the contractor. Third party vendors or sub-contractors shall not be permitted. This contract shall include all parts, labor and travel costs associated with the service or maintenance. Contractor is to provide: o Replace existing tracks for shelving units. o Replace shelving units (heavy duty) with 3 prong handle with aisle. o Mechanical assist pallet racking system (heavy duty) with a load capacity per bay to be at least 16,000lbs and maximum load per carriages (row) to be at least 24,000 lbs.
