The contractor shall be responsible for providing labor, materials, and equipment for the repairs and modifications to the Long-Term Care Facility outside air units and the hyrdonics as outlined within the Scope of Work (SOW). Place of Performance: Olin E. Teague Veterans' Center Question Deadline 08/13/2024 at 1:00 PM CT 1901 Veterans Memorial Drive Temple, TX 76504 Questions shall be accepted by the Government in writing via email no later than August 13, 2024, 1PM CDT. Please list "Technical Questions - 36C25724Q0860 - Bldg. 221 HVAC Repairs" in the subject line of the e-mail and send to Melanie Williams, Contract Specialist, at melanie.williams5va.gov. Please include in your questions the section of the solicitation/page number that your question is referencing The contractor shall be responsible for providing labor, materials, and equipment for the repairs and modification to Long Term Care Facility outside air units and the hydronics. Work performed will be located at Buildings 221A, 221B, 221C, 221D, and 221M of the Olin E. Teague Veterans' Center located in Temple, TX. After all work is completed, the contractor shall have a walkthrough with Government representative or with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) to ensure all work is completed. b. The Government will only provide access to the location. It is the sole responsibility of the Contractor to meet the requirements of this project without any other assistance from the Government. c. The Contractor shall contact the COR fourteen (14) days prior to starting work to allow for coordination. d. The Contractor shall protect all government property from damage. e. The Contractor shall provide all skilled personnel, services, vehicles, transportation, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, facility supervision, administration supervision and any other item(s) necessary to perform and accomplish the services outlined. The contractor shall be familiar with all the terms, conditions, and requirements herein contained. All work must comply with federal, state, and local regulations. f. The Contractor shall obtain all required permits, certifications, and inspections. g. Contractor and all associated subcontractor employees shall comply with applicable facility and local security policies and procedures. Contractor shall provide names of Contractor and Subcontractor employees to the COR or Government representative. VA will issue contractor badge/pass to contractor and subcontractor employees, as applicable. Employee list shall include name, title, qualifications and responsibilities like hazardous materials, PPE, fire safety penetrations, material disposal, lock-out/tagout, etc h. The Contractor shall provide one (1) year performance agreement labor and material in addition to the manufacturer's warranty on repairs performed. Contractor shall provide a warranty management plan copy. The warranty period shall begin on the date of project acceptance and shall continue for the full product warranty period. i. All work shall be done according to the Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) specified for the respective areas where work is performed. j. The Contractor shall document all work in daily reports emailed to the COR at the end of each work week. k. The contractor shall establish a weekly coordination meeting with the COR to discuss past performance, project goals and the current status of the project.
