Engineering & Permitting Services for Roadway and Culvert Design Belknap Road Extension to Lowell Road The work will involve the following: Revise existing plans and previous evaluations and concepts. Provide full roadway and culvert design for the proposed Belknap Road extension Provide design of a new traffic light system including mast arm foundation Provide geotechnical testing , if necessary, for mast arm foundations Permitting including dredge and fill permit and approval with NHDOT and NHDES Providing Plans, Specification and Cost Estimate which the Town of Hudson can utilize to bid the construction phase Provide traffic detour plans Provide wetland delineation Provide proposed Right of Way plans and deed document Provide values for the necessary Right of Way or easement purchases NEPA permit could be an add on , but will not part of this phase Proposers shall demonstrate experience in the completion of similar design work. Time Frame for Performance of Services A contract will be signed as soon as possible after the Proposal due date and completion of the Proposal evaluations and the project will proceed immediately. The Engineer will be able to start work soon after the award and must be complete no later than February 1, 2024. The intent is to seek state and federal funds for the construction phase once the design and permitting is complete.
