Site work for a water / sewer project in Victoria, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The works to be constructed under this Contract generally include, but is not limited to, the following: Procure and install cell 5A liner system for the Harland Landfill. The work covered by these specifications consists of fine grading of the Cell 5A liner system subgrade (including any drilling, blasting and/or hydraulic ramming of existing quarry floor and slopes), installation of cell 5A clay berm, crushing onsite shot rock into specified drainage aggregate types and placing/compacting drainage aggregate layers, procuring and installing 17,244 m2 of HDPE and GCL liner, installation of a ground water HDPE pore pressure relief piping system, installation of a leachate collection HDPE piping system, conveying the existing upstream Cell 4 ground water pore pressure relief system (PRS) and leachate collection system (LCS) piping to existing stormwater and leachate piping infrastructure through the Cell 5A construction area, and connecting all piping to existing discharge manholes to allow complete functionality of Cell 5A by October 31st, 2025, according to the design specifications and design intent.
