The project scope will focus on City-owned parks and trails inclusive of their associated infrastructure and amenies. Recreaon facilies and their programming are outside of the scope of this project and are not to be considered. However, some parks, such as Centennial Park which has three soball diamonds, have both programmable and non-programmable funcons. When reviewing the funconality of these parks, it is imperave that the City maintain or increase programmable space (i.e. sports fields) throughout the enre parkland inventory. Within the scope of the Parks Master Plan study is: The identification of areas needing further acquisition and dedication of parks, trails and greenspace; The creation of decision-making frameworks for assessing land-use, acquisition, and dedication, as well as regulatory decisions.
