**As of September 16, Project has been awarded. Award amount is $333,830.15** 2022 NJDOT Local Aid Infrastructure Fund Program Myrtle Avenue Roadway Improvements. Proposals Must Be Made on the Standard Proposal Form Provided, Accompanied by a Proposal Guarantee in the Form of a Bid Bond From a Surety/bonding Company Licensed and Qualified to Do Business in the State of New Jersey Pursuant to Federal and/or State Law as a Surety, a Certified Check, or Cashier's Check in the Amount of Ten (10%) Percent of the Total Amount Bid, but Not in Excess of $20,000.00 to Insure Signing of the Contract. Bidder Shall Also Submit With the Bid a Certificate of Surety From a Surety Company Licensed and Qualified to Do Business in the State of New Jersey, Pursuant to Federal and/or State Law as a Surety, Stating That It Will Provide the Contractor With a Performance Bond of the Total Price Bid. Successful Contractor Will Be Required to Submit a Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond (Refer to Instruction to Bidders). Furnishing and Delivery to the City of Passaic of the Following: 2022 Njdot Local Aid Infrastructure Fund Program Myrtle Avenue Roadway Improvements Project The City Council Has the Right to Consider Bids for Sixty (60) Days After Their Receipt. The City of Passaic is Only Responsible for Forwarding Addendums or Clarifications to Those Prospective Bidders Who Obtained Specifications Directly From the City of Passaic, Division of Purchasing or to Those Who Have Put the City of Passaic Division of Purchasing on Notice as Having Received the Specification. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project. DESCRIPTION THE FOLLOWING IS ADDED: This item shall include the construction of Curb, the excavation and removal of all earth, rock, boulders, any sawcutting (including sawcutting of concrete sub-base) brick, stone and concrete masonry, including small structures and other materials encountered of whatever nature, required for the construction of curb. It shall also include the transportation and disposal of the excavated materials; the construction of embankments, with the materials excavated; the disposal of unsuitable and surplus materials; all work included in the two foot pay limit, and other work as shown on the plans or specified herein. When existing sidewalks, handicap ramps, etc. are directly abutting the curb, the contractor is responsible for transitioning the curb tops to the existing grades within the two foot pay limit. This may require sawcutting existing materials and replacing in-kind. The contractor shall replace any damaged or removed roof leaders with in-kind sizes and materials that daylight into the existing street. The contractor must maintain positive drainage patterns upon completion of curb construction. This may in some instances require that the curb be built first with the asphalt sections.
