The proposed contract requires an engineered upgrade of approximately 160 metres of forest service road (FSR). The works will include the implementation of and Environmental Management Plan, timber felling and decking, slope staking using total station or RTK, grubbing and stripping of organic material, removal/use/end haul of an estimated 7,500m3 of bank volume and the use of advanced sediment and erosion control techniques. The work will be located on the Avola Mountain Branch 14 FSR (Roddy Road), within the Kamloops Timber Sale Area (TSA) (Clearwater) area.
