Work Location: Manassas Southside Tank 8556 Prince William Parkway Manassas, VA 20112 GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Provide all materials, equipment and labor necessary for the construction of Manassas Southside Tank Residual Control System. The work includes, but is not limited to the following: Mobilization/Demobilization and Project Close-out for commencing, concluding and closing out all project activities as required by the Contract Documents. Chemical and Sample Piping - Provide chemical feed piping, sample piping, piping supports, sample line tank penetrations, associated welding, and related work as shown in the Contract Documents and as necessary for the prosecution of Work. HVAC - Provide tank fluted column wall penetration for vent piping and associated welding, as required by the Contract Documents. Tank Coating System Repair - Repair the existing tank coating system at locations impacted by welding, penetrations, construction activity, and related work as shown in the Contract Documents. Building Insulation - Repair insulation on tank interior at locations impacted by welding, penetrations, construction activity, and related work as shown in the Contract Documents. Metal Chemical Containment - Provide pre-fabricated metal chemical containment and related work as shown in the Contract Documents. Residual Control System - Provide a complete residual control system, associated equipment, chemical storage, and related work and appurtenances as shown in the Contract Documents. Aluminum Stairs - Provide aluminum stairs for the Metal Chemical Containment and related work as shown in the Contract Documents. Electrical and Instrumentation - Provide electrical and instrumentation equipment and related work for the residual control system and related work as shown in the Contract Documents. Plumbing - Provide fixtures, piping, supports and related work as shown in the Contract Documents. Bidder shall submit each bid and required accompanying documents using the blank form(s) provided in this Project Manual. Prebid meeting info : If a Bidder plans to join the Pre-Bid Conference, the Bidder must inform the Procurement Department at SAProcurement@pwcsa.org with the following information: vendor name, business address and contact person. The Service Authority will provide the MS Teams link to requestors only. Upon completion of the meeting, the Service Authority will post an attendance list on the Service Authority website.
