Renovation of a municipal facility in Fitzgerald, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 3,240-square-foot, two-story above grade municipal facility.
Project no-62039, 05.2401 In order to be considered, Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond payable to the Owner in an amount not less than 5% of the Base Bid. Bid Bond shall become payable to the Owner, only if the bidder to whom award is made should fail to execute contract with the Owner and furnish bonds in accordance with the terms of contractor's proposal within ten (10) days after notification of Award. Clarifications requested by bidders must be in writing not less than 3 days (72 hours) before date set for receipt of bids. The reply will be in the form of an Addendum, a copy of which will be forwarded to known recipients No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after date of bid opening. A Performance and Payment Bond will be required by awarded contractor in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price before Notice to Proceed is issued. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities and informalities, to retain discretion in adoption of alternates and to re-advertise. Any Contract or Contracts awarded under this Advertisement for Bids are expected to be funded by grants by the American Rescue Plan Act. This project (INODIC #GA-0013787) will be partially funded with Federal funds from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and therefore is subject to the Federal laws and regulations associated with that program. All Bidders must comply with 41 CFR 60-4, in regards to affirmative action, to ensure equal opportunity employment, and will apply the timetables and goals set forth in 41 CFR 60-4, as applicable to the area of the project. The funding for this project also requires compliance with Davis-Bacon Wage Rates.
