2024 Public Works Parking Lot Improvements for the City of Rolling Meadows, Illinois Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the form of a bid bond, executed by a corporate surety company, a bank cashier's check or a certified check payable to the "City of Rolling Meadows" for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The bid guaranty checks of all, except the two responsive, responsible bidders which the City determines in its sole discretion to be the bidders with whom the City desires to commence negotiations for a contract, will be returned after the bids have been checked and tabulated. The bid guaranty checks of the responsive, responsible bidder will be returned after the contract and the contract bond of the successful bidder have been properly executed and approved. Bid bonds will not be returned. No bid shall be withdrawn after submission of the bid without the consent of the City of Rolling Meadows for a period of ninety (90) days after the scheduled deadline for submission of bids. The City of Rolling Meadows will review all bids received and reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, and to accept the bids as the Rolling Meadows City Council determines, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of the City of Rolling Meadows.
