Site work and paving for a road / highway in Warren, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The contractor is responsible for all survey, layout, and elevations for the asphalt pavement reconstruction areas. These works will be verified and approved by the RM of Woodlands and/or their representative prior to the commencement of the work. Saw cut all edges where the new pavements will tie to existing pavements. All excavated material is to be disposed of offsite, to locations provided by the RM of Woodlands within 25 km of the worksite. Grade and compact all excavated areas. Supply and place nonwoven geotextile fabric on top of all excavated areas. All base course material is to be placed in two lifts, with each lift being compacted prior to placement of the second lift.. Clean up excavated material spilled into ditches and boulevards. Gravel the edges of roadways and compact and restore any grassed areas that were damaged during construction.
