The undersigned bidder(s) for scrap MISCELLANEOUS SCRAP METALS located at the Wastewater Treatment Plant shall pick up said scrap at 725 Hollywell Avenue, Chambersburg, PA, by bidders' truck and by bidders' own labor. Pick up to be between 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Borough loader and operator may be used to load pipe or scrap on an hourly charge paid to the Borough. (MISCELLANEOUS METALS shall consist of brass, copper, cast iron, ductile iron, galvanized steel and steel.) Bidders' truck shall be empty-weighed at Wastewater Treatment Plant scales in the presence of a Borough representative. Loaded truck shall be weighed at same scale in the presence of a Borough representative. All expenses incurred in weighing and transporting is to be paid by bidder. Successful bidders will be required to make a deposit equal to 5,000 lbs of scrap at bid price prior to removing any MISCELLANEOUS METALS from the yard.
