Contractor to furnish all operations necessary to complete the following work for removal and disposal of select project site landscaping materials, debris, as well as the installation of landscaping and irrigation systems as detailed on the City of Cape Coral North Reverse Osmosis Plant construction plans and herein. The scope of work within these specifications and contract shall include a three hundred sixty-five (365) day maintenance and warranty period. The time indicated on the Ion Wave System is considered the official time. Once the Closing Date and "Time Left" count down has expired, Ion Wave will no longer permit bids to be submitted. It is the responsibility of the Supplier to ensure all bids are submitted on time, through the Ion Wave System, by the Closing Deadline. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, award in whole or in part and to waive any irregularities or informalities when in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Cape Coral. The CONTRACTOR will furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary for the removal, preparation and installation of proposed landscaping and irrigation improvements as shown on the landscape plans. In addition to other items as outlined in the specifications and bid documents, the landscape improvement installation may consist, but shall not necessarily be limited to all or part of the following: o All maintenance of traffic. o Notification to public safety departments of work within the right-of-way that would result in detours of emergency vehicles. o Removal of existing sod and application of herbicide as necessary for preparation. o Leveling or grading of existing project sites. o Transporting and disposal of excess dirt, soil, materials, and etc. o Obtaining all necessary and appropriate permits o Scheduling and passing all permit required inspections. o Connecting to existing irrigation service o Installation of irrigation system o Installation of perimeter wall o Installation of landscaping o Certification of landscape materials by an ISA Certified Arborist o Adjustment of existing irrigation boxes and/or utilities to match project site elevations. o Delivery of material to site (hauling). o Application of fertilizers. o Provision of project site landscape maintenance for interim periods o Irrigation system adjustments (timing, spray, etc.) and repairs. o Street sweeping, as necessary, & final clean-up of job site and repair of any damage caused by paving activities. o Removal of trash and debris.
