The Town of New Boston Highway Department is seeking proposals to provide 3,000 yards of winter sand to be picked up as needed. The vendor must load the town trucks. The anticipated timeframe to pick up will be October/November 2024. The Town of New Boston, Highway Department, is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to purchase 3,000 yards of sand to put on roads during winter storms. Sand should be screened to a minimum of 3/8 inch and not larger than 3/4 inch. The Town of New Boston NH is requesting bids from vendors for earth products to be picked up as needed. All products requested shall conform, equal, or beat NHDOT/MASSDOT Specifications. The amount of winter sand is an approximate amount that could end up being more or less. The person signing the proposal must be a person in your company authorized to sign a Contract with the Town of New Boston, NH "Winter Sand" TOWN OF NEW BOSTON, NEW HAMPSHIRE THE FOLLOWING INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT SHALL BE, AND IS HEREBY A PROVISION OF ANY CONTRACT The successful contractor agrees to indemnify, defend and save harmless the Town, its officials, officers, agents and employees from any claims and losses accruing or resulting to any contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, laborers and any other person, firm, or corporation furnishing or supplying work, services, materials or supplies in connection with the performance of this contract, and from any claims and losses accruing or resulting to any person, firm or corporation which may be injured or damaged by the contractor in the performance of this contract. In any case, the foregoing provisions concerning indemnification shall not be construed to indemnify the Town for damage arising out of bodily injury to persons or damage to property caused by or resulting from the sole negligence of the Town or its employees. This indemnification shall survive the expiration or early termination of this contract. The undersigned, as a lawfully authorized agent for the below-named Bidder/Contractor, has carefully examined the Proposal form of this Bid, to be known as Winter Sand Bid 2024, with the General Provisions, Specifications, and other bid documents and binds himself/herself and his/her company on the award to them by the Select Board to execute a contract agreement under this Proposal following such award, on such form, and in such manner as is prescribed by the Town, and to provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials and other items or services needed to perform all the requirements to provide winter sand, for the Town of New Boston, NH for the following Unit Prices.
