The Gardner Department of Community Development and Planning (DCDP) is soliciting bids for the Rear Main Revitalization Project - Phase 1 on Derby Drive in, Gardner, MA, Project #2025-891. BID FOR GARDNER REAR MAIN IMPROVEMENTS The project includes furnishing all labor, equipment and materials required to construct the Rear Main Revitalization Project - Phase 1 which is in Gardner Massachusetts. The project includes, but is not limited to, site preparation and demolition, erosion and sediment control, grading and stormwater improvements, site restoration, park amenities, paved parking, paved driveways, and site utilities as set forth in the specifications. Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Labor and Workforce Development under the provision of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project. It is the responsibility of the contractor, before bid opening, to request, if necessary, any additional information on Minimum Wage Rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed work under this contract. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified or cashier's check, payable to the City of Gardner, is required in a dollar amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. A performance bond and labor and materials bond for 100% of the total contract price, issued by a satisfactory surety company shall be required by the successful bidder. The City of Gardner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to accept proposals deemed to be in the best interest of the City, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received.
