Reference Number : 0000359179 This project consists of installing razor wire in designated areas of the Broome County Correctional Facility Purchase Type Duration: NTP plus 45 days The scope of services shall be as outlined herein and shall be performed in accordance with all applicable building codes, standards, and material specifications. The successful contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, labor, and incidentals to perform the following work by priority. Razor wire to be installed as per manufactures specifications. Install 1 rows of 30" security coils to the top of the building as per layout in 4 separate sections. The successful Contractor shall coordinate access to job site and all work activities with the facility supervisor present. The successful Contractor shall field verify all dimensions PRIOR to commencing work. Contractor shall clean all work areas each day to the satisfaction of the Facility Supervisor present. Contractor shall remove and legally dispose of all construction debris. Contractor shall be responsible for all site staging and safety operations, as well as complete restoration of any disturbed areas to the satisfaction of the Facility Supervisor present. Contractor shall erect temporary construction barriers and provide warning signs where required to ensure safety of pedestrians. Contractor shall comply with all necessary OSHA regulations and standards, including but not limited to "PART 1926 SAFETY and HEALTH REGULATIONS for CONSTRUCTION". Contractor shall protect existing systems and surfaces to remain, all damage resulting from the contractor's operations shall be replaced or repaired to a condition acceptable to the County Engineer, by the contractor at no additional cost to the County. In the event of a default and cancellation of the contract, the bidder shall be responsible for payment to Broome County of a sum equal to the additional contract costs to the County. Broome County reserves the right to reject all bids not considered to be in the best interests of Broome County or to waive any informalities in bids received, should such procedures be in the best interests of the County.
