Reference Number: 0000359142 The following is a listing of the minimum requirements for services to be provided under this proposal and bidders are requested to submit corrective action alternatives to any and all other deficiencies not included within this basic scope of work. The Lakewood Link Recreation Center offers a family-friendly indoor leisure pool. The pool features an exercise area with a gradual slope to the deep end and a play structure for kids to explore with fun water features scattered throughout the shallow end and a waterslide splash area. The swimming pool opened in 1994. and remodeled and replastered in 2016. The indoor pool is approximately 2,910 sf and 62,500 gallons. Resurfacing See Spec Section 13 11 35 - Aquatic Finishes for additional information: 1. The contractor shall provide labor and materials to drain and clean pool, remove, and store the water features with out damage and reinstall after the repairs have been performed. 2. The contractor shall remove all existing plaster to a minimum depth of 3/8" to 3/4". 3. The contractor shall sound and repair any delaminated areas as required. 4. The contractor shall perform any structural repairs to the pool shell. 5. Undercut around each interior fixture such as main drains, light fixtures, benches, seats, racing lines, targets and return fittings at a minimum on 1/2 ". 6. The contractor shall water blast pool completely. 7. Contractor shall apply a specially formulated bonding agent and sealant to pool. 8. Install new quartz plaster. 9. The contractor shall re-plaster with colored quartz pool plaster approximate thickness of 3/8" to 3/4". 10. The contractor shall assist in filling, circulating and treating the pool.
