ELEVATOR PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR AGREEMENT NJ Transit Line Stations Elevator Preventive Maintenance and Repair Agreement. The Bidder must upload its bid prior to the time and date specified so that it is included in the project download. Late bids cannot be accepted. This is the only way to submit a bid for this project; paper bids will not be accepted. The work under this Invitation for Bid (IFB) generally consists of, but is not limited to Elevator Preventive Maintenance and Repair Agreement as outlined per the Technical Specification for NJ TRANSIT's Rail Stations for a period of Three (3) Base Years with Two (2) One (1) Year option periods, which may be exercised at NJ TRANSIT's sole discretion. All work must be in strict conformance with the specifications provided in the Bid Documents. NJ TRANSIT will not hold an in-person Pre-Bid Conference. Upon confirmation of your firm's RSVP, NJ TRANSIT will forward an invitation for the video conference. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is highly recommended but not mandatory. Recipients of this IFB that do not attend may be at a disadvantage when submitting a Bid. In order to submit a Bid, NJ TRANSIT recommends that Bidders apply for a digital ID at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the Bid due date. Note you will be required to download and install the plugin as well as any additional software provided by online prior to uploading your bid. Your corporate or personal security settings may require additional steps before the software can be installed. This is a Two-Step IFB. Step One (1) of this IFB will involve a pre-qualification process. All Bidders must be prequalified by NJ TRANSIT prior to submitting a Bid. All Bidders, regardless of past performance, must complete the Bidders Pre-Qualification Package (Attachment A) for review by the NJ TRANSIT Pre-qualification Committee prior to the submission of their Bid in Step Two (2). The Bidders Pre-qualification Package (Attachment A) must be submitted by email to cperry@njtransit.com on or before 4:00 P.M. (EST) Friday, August 30, 2024 for the Bidder to be considered as a possible Bidder. Late pre-qualification forms will not be accepted and will disqualify a vendor from contract award. Only those Bidders who have participated in Step One (1) and who have been deemed pre-qualified will be allowed to submit a Bid in Step Two (2). All Bidders who are found to be acceptable at the completion of Step One (1) and deemed pre-qualified will be notified of their status by Tuesday, September 17, 2024 and will be invited to submit a Bid in Step Two (2). Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27, regarding Equal Employment Opportunity Laws and Regulations. NJ TRANSIT further requires that its Contractors agree to take all necessary and responsible steps in accordance with N.J.S.A. 52:32-17 et seq.; N.J.S.A 52:32-31.1 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:13-1.1 et seq.; N.J.A.C. 17:14-1.11 et seq., and other applicable regulation to ensure that Small Business Enterprises (SBEs)/Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (DVOBs) have the opportunity to participate in the performance of this Contract. A Zero Percent (0%) SBE/DVOB Goal has been assigned to this project. Contractors and subcontractors are also required to comply with the State of New Jersey, Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services, Business Registration Certificate requirements (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44). Contractors or Subcontractors shall not engage in the performance of any work, unless the Contractor or Subcontractor is registered as required. The requirements of Political Disclosure N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.27 and Source Disclosure N.J.S.A. 52:34-13.2 apply to this project. In accordance with N.J.A.C. 16:72-2.2, Bidders are notified that a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price is required with their Bids. Additional requirements are set forth in the Bid Documents.
