Site work for a water / sewer project in Canton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Contractor is to furnish all labor, materials, equipment for removal of the existing Granular Activated Carbon (GAC), inspect/repair existing GAC vessels, and the turnkey delivery/installation of new virgin GAC at the Neponset St Water Treatment Facility. Contractor Qualification Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. questions shall be submitted via email to the Town Engineer Alfons Koka at (engineeringdept@town.canton.ma.us) on or before August 12, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. (noon) Local Time. The Town of Canton, MA reserves the right to decrease the scope of the work to be done under this Contract and to omit any work in order to bring the cost within available funds. To this end, the Town of Canton, MA reserves the right to reduce the quantity of any items or omit all of any items as set forth in the BID, either prior to executing the Contract or at any time during the progress of the work. The Town of Canton, MA further reserves the right, at any time during the progress of the work, to restore all or part of any items previously omitted or reduced. Exercise by the Town of Canton, MA of the above rights shall not constitute any ground or basis of claim for damages or for anticipated profits on the work omitted.
