Renovation of a library in Canton, Massachusetts. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a library.
The Town of Canton, through its BRC, is seeking Design Services as defined by M.G.L. Chapter 7C, Sections 44-57, for Canton Public Library Interior Repairs and Renovations. Design Team scope of services for the project includes, but are not limited to: assessment of existing conditions; review of existing schematic design information; design development and construction documents; cost estimates (anticipated at SD and CD); construction administration; closeout for the interior renovations. Work is inclusive of, but not limited to, interior finish repairs, modifications of existing entry desk mill-work, repair floors as needed, re-painting of existing walls/doors and interior window frames, new entry signage, modifications/replacements of acoustical ceiling system as required, removal and re-installation of lighting, and removal of existing wood molding. Refer to Project Objectives and Attachment #3 for additional information. Services include SD, DD, CD, CA, and Closeout, related to interior finish repair/replacement, acoustical and lighting improvements, and space updates for current library programs. Time Period for Completed Project February 2026. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Questions deadline: 7/23/24
