Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for the renovation of a transportation facility.

This project involves construction activities for the Windsor Locks Railroad Station Improvements extending from mile post (MP) 47.1 to MP 49.3 of the Springfield Line in Windsor Locks, CT. The proposed activity will take place within and immediately adjacent to the New Haven to Springfield railroad corridor right-of-way and the Connecticut Southern Railroad (CSOR) right-of-way. The project consists of construction of railbed and drainage improvements to support installation of a second track and replacement of the existing single track (future Track 1), improvements to existing culverts, site grading improvements at future interlockings, and construction of retaining walls. The work also includes converting the existing Amtrak Station on South Main Street at Stanton Road into a Maintenance of Way (MOW) yard including site grading and drainage construction as well as demolition of the current passenger station facility. In addition, there will be minor roadway and paving improvements, and construction to support Amtrak signal improvements at the Bridge St. grade crossing.
