Demolition, site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in West Lafayette, Indiana. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and water / sewer project.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Pepper Construction is the Construction Manager for the Purdue University - Daniels School of Business project located at 429 Mitch Daniels Blvd., West Lafayette, IN 47907. This project consists of demolition of existing buildings and below grade parking garage and construction of a new, 5-story building (approximately 185,000 GSF) with a full basement. The building will include a lobby, commons, open collaboration spaces, classrooms, lab space, event space, loading dock and back of house spaces, and sitework which includes a courtyard, streetscape improvements, pedestrian access, and central connector. Construction for the entire project began September 2024 and will end April 2027. BID EVENT 1 BID PACKAGES: BP-01: Make Ready Electrical, BP-02: Make Ready Mechanical, BP-03: Demolition, BP-04: Earthwork, BP-05: Earth Retention, BP-06: Site Utilities (Storm, Water, Sewer), and BP-07: Elevators XBE PROJECT GOAL: This project has an XBE project goal of 20% and diverse subcontractors and suppliers must be certified with the IDOA, Division of Supplier Diversity. All diverse subcontractors and suppliers are highly encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting and submit bids for this project. All bidders are required to be prequalified with Pepper Construction & Purdue University prior to the bid submission deadline.
