Site work for a water / sewer project in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This item is for the replacement of sanitary sewer running north of Arbor Trace Drive from South H Street to west of South I Street (SWC5-85 to SW-C5-110). The scope of work includes approximately 1,200 feet of pipe and 6 manholes. This section was found to be a location of high inflow and infiltration by staff. This project was designed and planned as a part of the Inflow and Infiltration Improvements Project (8016-119) but has been split into a new CIP item. The funding for the construction of Storm Sewer improvements along 4th Avenue on this project will be paid for using storm water funding (CIP 8065-11). As of October 21, 2024, the project is currently under construction. However, the firm construction timeline was not disclosed. The completion timeline has not been released.
