A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following 1. Situated within the high desert climate of Redmond, Oregon, the proposed Project consists of a 2-story, approximately 42,000 sq ft public safety facility on an 8-acre site. The building will utilize type V-B construction with concrete slab-on-grade, cross-laminated timber (CLT) floor and roof decks with glulam columns and beams framing and CLT walls for bearing and lateral. 2. Site improvements will include an entry plaza at the building's east public entry, public parking, landscaped berms and swales along the south facade, and a secured, landscaped parking area along the north facade, with covered parking for patrol vehicles. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract.
