The Town of Lake Pleasant invites the submission of sealed bid proposals to furnish labor and materials to replace the foundation of the Lake Pleasant Historical Society Museum located at 2885 NYS Route 8 in Speculator NY in accordance with the plans and specifications. The work is to be bid under one single bid lump sum contract. Location: 2885 State Route 8, Speculator, NY 12164 Bids shall be prepared as set forth in the instructions for bidders, enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name address and phone number of the bidder, contract name and bid opening date. The Town of Lake Pleasant reserves the right to reject any bidder for failure to comply with the instructions for bidders. The Town of Lake Pleasant reserves the right to postpone bid opening to allow clarifications requested by the bidders. The attention of the prospective bidders is directed to the minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. Bidders shall be required to start work within 7 days after a notice to proceed is issued by the Town, and no bidder may withdraw its bid within 180 days of bid opening. All Bidders must supply all required insurance certificates to the Town of Lake Pleasant clerk's office prior to starting work. Out of state bidders must have Disability Insurance thru a Private carrier specifically for NY, and be self-insured thru the Workers Compensation Board.
