Description

Site work and new construction of a civil project in Burnaby, British Columbia. Design plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project.

The Burnaby Mountain Tank (BMT) primarily supplying the City of Burnaby Kingsgate Pump Station, with a capacity of 2.5 ML, will be replaced by two new tanks, BMT No. 2 and No. 3, total combined capacity of 9.0 ML. A new valve control chamber will also be built for improving operations. TIMELINE: A Request for Proposal to provide Consulting Engineering Services for Preliminary Design of the project has closed and a preferred proponent is chosen. Tender and construction timelines are yet to be determined. Further update in fall 2026.
