Williamson County, Texas (the "County") is soliciting proposals from respondents for constructing and operating a Landfill Gas ("LFG") Recovery and Utilization project (the "LFG Project") for the County Landfill located at 600 Landfill Road, Hutto, Texas (the "Landfill"). The County is anticipating selecting one respondent for this work but the Commissioners Court may select more or no respondents at its discretion. The County's purpose for the RFP is to select the respondents that will accomplish the following for the LFG Project: a. Plan, permit, design, finance, construct, operate, manage, and maintain a renewable landfill gas facility for recovering, treating, processing, and selling the landfill gas generated by the Landfill; b. To the extent necessary, cooperate with the Landfill's existing management company/operator; c. Comply with applicable statutory and regulatory State and Federal requirements; d. Comply with any terms and conditions of the Williamson County Landfill Operation Agreement between Waste Management of Texas, Inc. and Williamson County, Texas, being dated effective March 3, 2009, as amended, as they may affect landfill gas management at the Landfill; and e. Provide agreed upon revenues to the County for the exclusive rights to the LFG.
