Renovation of a residential development in Forty Fort, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

Questions Due Date: Aug 15th 2024, 4:00 PM EDT Questions with regard to the Procurement and Contracting Documents, Bidders List, bid submission, or other items shall be submitted through online. LUZERNE COUNTY FLOOD PROTECTION AUTHORITY (LCFPA) WILL RECEIVE SEALED BIDS for the Building Renovation at 15 Camryn Way, Forty Fort, PA 18704. Each bid, when submitted, must be accompanied by a Bid Security that shall not be less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Total Base Bid, a Non-Collusion Affidavit of Prime Bidder, and a Statement of Bidder's Qualification. The successful Bidder will be required to obtain a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond. Refer to other bidding requirements described in the Instruction to Bidders. Each bid must be submitted on the Bid Form provided. Bidders shall not alter this form in anyway. Attention is called to the provisions for Equal Employment Opportunity and the Wage Rate Requirements as set forth in the Non-Technical Specifications. The LCFPA does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, family, and handicapped status in employment or the provision of services. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of the Bids, without consent of the LCFPA. The LCFPA reserves the right to waive any informalities, irregularities, defects, errors or omissions in, or to reject any or all bids, proposals, or parts thereof. The project is funded in part by an American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant from Luzerne County. Contractors are required to demonstrate compliance with 2 CFR 200.231 "Contracting with small and minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms", through detailed documentation of solicitation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs). Contractors must demonstrate the good faith efforts identified in the project manual to identify and solicit DBE firms that are potential sources for any procurement action in the areas of project construction, equipment, services, and supplies by including state qualified small businesses, and minority and women owned business enterprises in the bidding process.
