Vendor shall provide labor, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation, technical expertise, and record keeping in order to characterize, pack, transport and dispose/recycling of various hazardous and universal wastes as requested by KCSMO. The Vendor shall provide the following services: Remove and treat, sort and dispose of hazardous materials. Provide laboratory services for analyzing the composition of hazardous materials (if needed). Vendor may be required to provide an itemized, detailed good faith cost estimate for the proposed work that includes all labor, materials, transportation and/or disposal that would be provided by or on behalf of the Vendor. This estimate shall include a maximum or "not to exceed" total amount for the projects and shall be based on the bid prices submitted in this bid. Knox County wants requests for additional information routed to Donnie Fawver, CPPB, Construction & Contract Specialist/Senior Buyer, at 865.215.5756. Questions may be emailed to donnie.fawver@knoxcounty.org. If you have not heard from the Buyer in a reasonable amount of time, please call for further assistance. Information about the Knox County Procurement Division and current solicitations may be obtained electronically. Award will be made to the most responsive, responsible bidder(s) meeting specifications, who presents the product or service that is in the best interest of Knox County. Knox County reserves the right to award this bid on an all-or-none basis or by a multiple award. Knox County also reserves the right to not make an award. The evaluation criteria are listed herein. Knox County intends to issue a one-year (1) award. Upon the mutual agreement of each vendor and Knox County, the award may be extended for four (4) additional years, one (1) year at a time. This may result in a total of five (5) years. Knox County reserves the right to purchase these items/services from other sources if the need arises.
