The City is seeking sealed bids for residential loose leaf collection services for fiscal years 2025 through 2028. The Contractor will have a leaf collection crew and equipment, (hereinafter called the “leaf crew”), available for use under the Contract beginning November 1st, 2024, and shall remain available through December 23rd, 2024. This crew will consist of two (2) leaf collection trucks with leaf boxes, one (1) industrial leaf vacuum, two (2) drivers, and three (3) laborers to rake leaves. The Contractor shall have spare unit equal to the unit listed below in case of breakdown. The services will be performed in various residential subdivisions, streets and locations throughout the City, as directed by the City. The City shall immediately return the bid bond of any Bidder whose Bid is deemed by the City to be non-responsive, or shall immediately return all bid bonds in the event the Solicitation process is canceled by the City. Question Deadline 08/16/2024 at 5:00 PM ET All questions regarding this Solicitation: (i) shall be submitted by email to the Procurement Division, at procurement@gaithersburgmd.gov. The Contract shall become effective on the date it is signed by both parties and shall continue in force until June 30, 2025. Upon the termination date, the Contract shall automatically renew for three (3) successive one (1) year terms unless otherwise terminated in writing by the City or the Contractor at least sixty (60) days prior to the termination date of the then current term. The City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids in full or in part and/or to waive any technicalities and/or informalities as best may serve the interests of the City.
