Reference Number: 0000358984 Canton Township has issued this Invitation to Bid (ITB) to seek company(s) to replace the entry doors at Kickers Restaurant at Victory Park, 46555 Michigan Ave, Canton MI 48188. Work can commence immediately once the timeline is approved by the Project & Facilities Service Manager. o The scope of work is for the removal of wood doors, wood frames and glazing. o Replace existing entry w/ aluminum framed storefront as shown diagrammatically on drawings attached. Two (2) set of double doors being replaced (interior and exterior) Located on the south side of the building Approximate sizes are (2) 3'-0" x 7'-0" each o Contractor shall field verify all conditions, dimensions, quantities and conditions prior to preparing submittal for new work. o Patch, Repair and repaint any existing finishes disturbed during the demolition sand installation of storefront aluminum systems. o Provide new framing and or header to place new aluminum storefront doors and frame, verify in field openings, if new framing and/or header is required provide new wall finishes to match existing and paint to match. o Door, keys, frames, glazing, and hardware to match existing aluminum door finishes. o Basis of design: Tubelite Versatherm aluminum storefront and medium stile aluminum doors with 1" clear tempered insulated w/ Low E (#2) on exterior doors and 1/4 " clear tempered on interior doors. o Existing Tubelite doors are Dark Bronze anodized. o All equipment and rentals must be included in your bid/proposal. o Contractor to be responsible for all demolition and disposal costs. o Contractor must provide all necessary means of safety precautions, including barriers, signage, etc., and must communicate with the Project & Facilities Service Manager a minimum of 48 hours prior to construction. o Contractor is responsible for any restorations required to project site. o All schedules must be approved by the Township Project & Facilities Manager o Any deviation from these specifications must be approved in writing by Canton Township. o Permits for the job are required. Township permit fee will be waived (any reinspection cost is not). o All final inspections are required for payment. o Contractor can bill 90% after completion until final inspection is performed All offers should be submitted in a sealed envelope or package. The invitation title, opening date and time, company name, address and telephone number shall be clearly displayed on the outside of the sealed envelope or package. The delivery of responses to the Clerk's Office prior to the specified date and time is solely and strictly the responsibility of the offeror. Any submittal received in the Clerk's Office after the specified date and time will not be considered. Responses shall be submitted on the forms provided by Canton. Additional information may be attached to the submittal. Facsimile submissions are NOT acceptable. No offer may be modified after acceptance. No offer may be withdrawn after opening for a period of sixty days unless otherwise specified. Bid must include all costs. All offers must include the original and at least two (2) copies.
