This project shall consist of the extension of South Springs Rd to accommodate a new residential development. The proposed improvements shall include a 1,000 LF extension of the existing roadway, sidewalk and associated drainage and utility extensions. Other work shall include all necessary clearing and restoration of the project area. Completion date for this project will be 180 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $200.00 per day. The Quincy City Council reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, to accept and/or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in their judgment will be in the best interest of The City of Quincy.
