The Quincy City Council will receive sealed bids from any qualified person, company or corporation interested in the following work: Cleaning and Inspection of Elevated Water Tanks The project-will consist of cleaning and inspection of three elevated water tanks in Quincy: 1)Adams Street Tank 300,000 Gallons: 2) Roberts Street Tank 500,000 Gallons; 3) Virginia Street Tank 500,000 Gallons. All three of these tanks can be performed one at the time and can be drained for work to be done. There are no plans or specifications for this work, but it is highly suggested that a pre-bid review of each site by the contractor to assure a full working knowledge of each site and to limit any constraints that may exist. Completion date for this project will be 30 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $200.00 per day. The Quincy City Council reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, to accept and/or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in their judgment will be in the best interest of The City of Quincy.
