Tanyard Creek Sewer Upgrades This project shall include the reconstruction of approximately 178 LF of above ground gravity sewer crossing Tanyard Creek in the city of Quincy. Project shall include the removal of the existing sewer line and all associated bypass pumping during the construction of the proposed system. Completion date for this project will be 90 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $200.00 per day. The Quincy City Council reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, to accept and/or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in their judgment will be in the best interest of The City of Quincy. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding.
