New construction and renovation of an educational facility in South Harrison Township, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and for the construction of a 42,238-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility.

2024 Rowan - Virtua Nursing Building. The project includes a 42,238 Square Foot two-story Nursing Building. The building includes, but is not limited to: a. Two-story load bearing masonry building b. Single occupant and Multiple occupant toilets c. All structural and steel work d. All plumbing work e. Fire sprinkler system f. HVAC equipment and BMS Controls and equipment g. All electrical, generator and fire alarm work h. All site work, walkways, utilities, paving, grading, storm water management and landscaping work The Work of the Project will be completed in a single lump sum contract. Bidding shall be in conformance with the applicable requirements of the County College Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 18A:64A-25.l et seq. Bids must be in duplicate (1 original and 1 copy) on the proposal forms provided and in the manner designated, enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and proposal identification on outside, and must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond drawn to the order of Rowan College of South Jersey in the amount of 10% of the Bid pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:64A-25.16 and must be delivered to the above place on or before the hour named . Rowan College of South Jersey assumes no responsibility for bids mailed or misdirected in delivery. Prospective bidders are advised that this Project is one which will be subject to and governed by provisions of New Jersey State Law governing (a) Prevailing Wage Act N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.27 et seq., (b) Ownership Disclosure Certification N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2. Prospective bidders are advised that the Project is subject to a Project Labor Agreement (PLA). The PLA will be binding upon all contractors and subcontractors performing on-site Project work, as defined in Article 3 of the PLA. The Public Works Contractor Registration Act N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. requires that the Bidder and Named Prime Subcontractors must be registered at the time of Bid. The Owner is requesting that copies of the Certificates be included in the Bidder's Bid Package, but Bidder must provide copies of the Certificates no later than the time of award. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 all business organizations that do business with a local contracting agency are required to be registered with the State and provide proof of their Registration with the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue before the contracting agency may enter into a contract with the business. In addition, and pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:64A-25.17, each bid must be accompanied by a Certificate from a Surety Company stating it will provide each bidder with separate Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract sum. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the dates set for the opening thereof. The right is reserved to reject all bids or to waive minor informalities or non-material exceptions. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31et. seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et. seq. The bidder must be pre-qualified as C008 - General Construction by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction, prior to the date that bids are received. The Prime Subcontractors listed must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction, prior to the date that bids are received.
