Possible expansion of the Emergency Department at Colchester East Hants Health Centre. TIMELINE: Project is preliminary. An RFP from qualified proponents with expertise in health care facility planning was issued in 2024 and subsequently cancelled by the owner. The objective was to engage a qualified consultant to complete a feasibility study, including design and cost estimating associated with a possible expansion of the Emergency Department to address space, workflow and equipment requirements. Project details will be updated in the future, pending owner's decision to proceed with this project. Coverage is discontinued at this time.
