The proposed work consists of roughly 6 acres of asphalt upgrades, including milling of existing surface, importing of fill, resurfacing of asphalt, and new pavement striping. The proposed work also includes demolition of existing concrete pavement and replacement with asphalt paving. The project is located at the Garden City Terminal, Garden City, Georgia. Bid must be accompanied by a bid security equal to 10 percent of bid sum. If a construction contract is awarded, successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds, each equal in amount to contract sum. Base bid also includes survey of Stack 503. Owner to remove containers from Stack 503 prior to starting work. Contractor to survey Stack 503. Variable depth mill and overlay extents are estimated to be from bay 26 to bay 62, as shown in plans. It should be noted that the entire stack will be restriped (corner castings, bay numbering, and long lines of adjacent RTG and load lane) while all containers are removed from the stack, despite the M&O area being localized. d.
