SCOPE OF WORK: The Project is generally described as: Play Yard Chain Link Fence Fabric Installation. The estimated construction value of the Work is $15,000. Scope of Work: Contractor shall furnish labor, material and equipment to install approximate 150 feet of new chain link fence fabric on newly installed steel posts, and related accessories/hardware on top of a newly installed steel supported wooden fence. The height of the wooden fence from the ground to the top of the wooden fence varies from 9 feet to 15 feet high. The new chain link fence fabric shall be 7 feet and 9 inches high with 2 inch wire mesh fabric. A. Top Rails and Bottom Rails 1. Use 1.660" outside diameter pipe weighing 1.80 lbs per lineal feet; or 2. Use 1.625" x 1.25" roll-formed sections weighing 1.35 lbs per lineal feet. 3. Provide in manufacturer's longest lengths, with expansion type couplings approximately 6-inches long for each joint. 4. Provide means for attaching top rail and bottom rail securely to each corner, pull, slope and end post. B. Rails and Bracing 1. Install fence with a top rail and bottom rail. 2. Install top rails and bottom rails continuously through post caps or extension arms, bending to radius for curved runs. 3. Provide expansion couplings as recommended by the fencing manufacturer. 4. Provide bracing to the midpoint of the nearest line posts at all end, corner, slope, and pull. 5. Install tension wires parallel to the line of fabric by weaving through the fabric and tying to each post with not less than number 6 gage galvanized wire, or by securing the wire to the fabric.
