Reference Number 0000275605 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/08/19 05:00:00 PM EDT 1. Supply Air Handling Unit as per the Appendix #1 UTM AHU-K3 Replacement Drawings and Appendix #2 UTM AHU-K3 Replacement Specifications. 2. The Proponent shall include in their bid transportation of AHU sections in separate loads so to meet the project delivery dates. No storage is available on site. Substantial completion of the project for installation the unit is October 2025. 3. Dimensions of available space for unit is to be confirmed on-site. Proponent to site measure, verify and coordinate all space requirements, including operating and maintenance clearances. Confirmation and measurement may be conducted by Proponents during the Optional Proponents Meeting and will be conducted by the Successful Proponent post award. 4. Path of travel and logistics of delivery of the components of the Air Handling Unit is to be coordinated and verified by the supplier. Shipping details shall be coordinated and included with submittal drawings as part of this work scope. 5. Unit is to be assembled in the manufacturer's plant and tested for air leakage as a complete unit before shipping. Prior to shipping the AHU from the factory, the AHU shall be inspected by the consulting engineer, Owner or a representative assigned by the Owner. All costs associated with travel to the factory if required for two individuals shall be covered by the Successful Proponent. 6. Comply with manufacturers installation instructions for assembly and disassembly, rigging, local transportation requirements, unloading, storage and final setting. 7. AHU should include but not be limited to: return & supply fans and associated motors, a preheat coil section, a heating coil section, a chilled water-cooling coil section, a humidifier, a heat recovery wheel, access doors, dampers and filters. 8. Successful Proponent to allocate qualified personnel at the time of start-up and commissioning. 9. The manufacturer shall be notified by the installing contractor at least two (2) weeks of advance of the commissioning date. The manufacturer's representative shall ensure that the AHU is assembled to standards and operating correctly. 10. Final shop drawings shall be submitted within ten (10) working days from project award date. 11. Warranty information for AHU and components to be provided. 12. Disassembly and reassembly will in no way affect the AHU's warranty. 13. Successful Proponent to coordinate all installation with Mechanical Contractor who will be responsible for the installation throughout the duration of the construction period.
