The work to be performed consists of HMA Surface Removal, HMA Leveling Binder, HMA surface course, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the improvement DESCRIPTION OF IMPROVEMENT The proposed work is officially known as "2024 MFT Street Improvements" and further described as a resurfacing project. The work to be performed consists of HMA Surface Removal, HMA Leveling Binder, HMA surface course, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the improvement as shown as described herein. RESPONSIBLE BIDDER Subject to the terms of the Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/1 seq., the City of Morris must comply with 65 ILCS 5/8-9-1, which provides that contracts advertised for bids shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. A Responsible Bidder has been defined by the City of Morris per Resolution No. R-08-01 dated February 19, 2008 (copy enclosed).
