Demolition and site work for a recreation facility in Chico, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a recreation facility; and for site work for a recreation facility.

CCA are soliciting cost proposals on behalf of the Fair, for the project. General information, plans and current site photographs are included in Appendices A, B, C, & D. The scope of work to include the following: SCOPE OF WORK: The project will include all labor, equipment and materials to implement the project. The Fair's U Building has reached the end of its useful life and needs to be removed. o The project scope of work is presented below: o Demolish building, canopies, and restrooms to the ground. o Pull electrical service back to panel and remove wire. o Cap sewer lines below grade and place in Christy box. o Cap water lines below grade and leave in Christy box. o Demo CMU fencing, access gate, planting, and irrigation. Existing trees to remain. o Lead is present in the paint and is included in the attached document. It must be disposed of properly. o Provide CCA with TCLP test results as well as any other tests to verify lead disposal requirements o The Contractor shall contact the regional EPA, state, and local authorities to determine LBP debris disposal requirements. Resource Conservation and Recovery Act requirements shall be complied with as well as applicable state hazardous waste and solid waste requirements. During the actual lead abatement, the Contractor shall not leave debris at the facility or nearby property, incinerate debris, dump waste by the road or in an unauthorized dumpster, or introduce lead contaminated water into storm water (will not be flushed down yard inlet or street drain) or sanitary sewers (will not be flushed down toilet or other household drain). o Provide proof to CCA that all required permits, manifests, site locations, and arrangements for transport and disposal of lead-based materials and wastes and the like have been obtained including, but not limited to, the following: The EPA hazardous waste generator identification number (GIN). The name and appropriate certification/licenses of the hazardous material transport firm. The name and appropriate certification/licenses of the waste disposal facility. A comprehensive work plan for the LBP abatement and demolition project. The work plan shall clearly identify the demolition and abatement method(s), containment plan(s), time lines, and responsible parties. A written respiratory protection plan as required in 29 CFR 1926.62 and 8 CCR 1532.1 Copies of all dump tags. The above scope of work is provided as an overview. All bidding and work to be based on attached plans in Appendix B. The Bidder is required to possess a qualified California Contractors C-21 License, that is active and in good standing at the time of the bid opening and remain so throughout the duration of Contract. All specialize skills, i.e., welding, specialized hardware, etc. to be conducted by personnel with applicable qualifications and license.
