Bell County Water Control & Improvement District No. 1 (District) is soliciting Request for Bid for the installation of a 16" bypass located in Killeen, Texas. Scope of Work- To install roughly <100ft of 16" NSF/ANSI approved C900 DR-25 pipe with fittings and tapping saddles in addition to a 2" blowoff 1. Excavate the 30" WL between the two (2) 5 Million Gallon tanks. 16" tapping saddle with gate valve off the 30" WL 2. Install <100 ft of 16" NSF/ANSI C900 DR-25 pipe with fittings with at least 4 inches of bedding gravel and at least 4 inches of gravel on top of pipe. All bends and fittings must use mega-lugs 3. Excavate the 16" WL and install a 16" tapping saddle with gate valve 4. Install a 2" tapping saddle and piping for a blowoff on end of pipe that ties into 16" WL going into pump station. See Fig.1 5.
