Services and products to be rendered in performing all work associated with traffic speed surveys may include, but may not be limited to: A. Obtain speed data for each street segment identified in the previous 2018 Speed Survey, and extend all major arterials to end of current City Limits (map attached), and any other additional segments that may be pertinent to the study. B. Perform analysis of the speed data to determine the 85th percentile speed, pace speed, and average speed. C. Review traffic collision data. D. Review roadway conditions for conditions not readily apparent to the driver. E. Review existing speed limits, compare with new traffic data and recommend any necessary changes to the existing speed limits. F. Provide report of finding and recommendations. G. Consultant coordination will include an appropriate number of meetings with City staff. The consultant will be required to attend a City Council meeting in order to answer questions about the study.
