Renovation of a fire / police facility in Desert Hot Springs, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
As of November 26,2024, project was awarded to Servpro, awarded amount is $16,222.22. The police department recently had a flood causing some interior damage to flooring and walls. All flood damaged items have been removed, asbestos has been tested and passed, bacterial tests have been completed and passed, and all moisture levels have been tested and approved. The City is now seeking proposals to complete the reconstruction of some interior areas, including the installation of new carpet tile and vinyl flooring, vinyl base board, new insulation, drywall, mud and tape, and paint all to match existing. Estimated Quantities are shown on attached bid sheet. Pursuant to California Labor Code Section 1720 et seq., Contractor is legally obligated to pay prevailing wages for the services called for in this Contract. Location: Police Department - 65950 Pierson Blvd, Desert Hot Springs CA 92240 Type of Work: Re-construction of interior carpet tile and vinyl flooring, floorboard, drywall, paint. This Request for Proposals (RFP) is open to all Contractors with a legal "B" License, DIR Number, and will require a City Business License.
