Hillsborough Community College is accepting bids for the following: Plant City Tree Work and Landscape Renovation Potential Bidders are encouraged to monitor their email notifications from HCCs WorkDay Strategic Sourcing throughout the solicitation process. Potential bidders are to submit questions via WorkDay Strategic Sourcing or via email to hccpurchasing@hccfl.edu. All questions regarding this RFB will be due in writing on 08/23/2024 at 4:30 PM Eastern Time (ET). Contact with anyone other than the assigned procurement officer(s) or his/her designee(s) may result in the rejection or disqualification of your bid submission. The four (4) phases of work to be completed under these specifications have two (2) subphases. The first subphase of each phase of this project is tree work. This work will be accomplished prior to the landscaping work (second subphase) of each phase. See attached Exhibits A, B, and C. Exhibit A - HCC Plant City Tree Report (detailing the tree removal and tree trimming for this project.) Exhibit B - HCC Landscape Renovation Plan Exhibit C - HCC Plant City Tree Report and Landscape Renovation Bid Sheet [4 phases/ 2 subphases (tree work and landscaping) per phase] Additional information: 1. Irrigation is not to be a part of this RFB. Existing Irrigation to be left as is. 2. The 4 phases will be accomplished one after another. This method was developed to reduce the amount of disturbance to the entire campus. 3. Existing mulch is to be removed and hauled away by the awarded contractor. 4. The budget for this project is $625K. 5. The awarded contractor may use HCC water supply for routine watering maintenance. 6. Stump grinding is acceptable for tree removals.
